Attendance Policy at ExpertPath

At ExpertPath, our attendance policy aims to ensure active participation and engagement in all training programs. This policy outlines the regulations for attendance in synchronous online sessions and hybrid learning environments, ensuring a structured and professional learning experience.

Attendance Requirements:

  • Attendance through virtual classrooms is equivalent to in-person attendance.
  • A minimum of 25% of the total program hours must be delivered synchronously through virtual classrooms for programs exceeding one month in duration.
  • Trainees are required to attend at least (percentage to be defined) of the total program hours to maintain eligibility for completion.

Documentation of Attendance and Absence:

  • Attendance Tracking: Attendance is recorded automatically during synchronous sessions, with precise entry and exit times logged.
  • Absence Notifications: Trainees must notify the training team in advance of any planned absences, providing reasons and supporting documentation where applicable.
  • Excused Absences: Absences supported by valid documentation, such as medical certificates, will be considered excused.
  • Unexcused Absences: Absences without prior notice or valid documentation may result in disciplinary actions.

Follow-Up on Attendance:

  • Weekly attendance reports will be generated to track trainee participation.
  • The training team will contact trainees with low attendance to provide guidance on missed materials and ensure continued progress.

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

  • Failure to meet the minimum attendance requirements will result in the following actions:
    • Excused Absences: Additional assignments or rescheduled sessions may be provided to make up for missed content.
    • Unexcused Absences: Disciplinary actions may include warnings, suspension from the program, or ineligibility for certification.

Eligibility for Certification:

  • Trainees who fail to meet the minimum attendance requirements or violate this policy will not be eligible to receive a completion certificate.

This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled at ExpertPath. We are committed to its consistent implementation, and trainees are expected to adhere to these guidelines. Any violations will be addressed according to ExpertPath’s established procedures.
